FIN is basic service SWIFT for message transfer. Over 7 500 financial institutions more than in 200 countries use FIN for the protected exchange of the financial information reliable and economically effective. Migration from connections to FIN on X.25 to SWIFTNet FIN will allow both to users and most SWIFT to cut the expenses by refusal of use of network X.25 and the out-of-date technologies accompanying the given protocol that already takes place in some countries. All procedure of the introduction of the user in SWIFT takes not less than 2 months at collective and not less than four months at own connection. SWIFTNet FIN gives access to FIN service by means of SWIFTNet using IP connections. Infrastructure of SWIFTNet includes a set of completely administered services of safety of the information constructed on the basis of technology PKI. Those users who already work with services of SWIFTNet (for example Equiry Link RTGS plus) can use available connection and the program interface for access both to the specified services and to FIN service. Connection process to the SWIFT network consists of two stages: The introduction of the financial organisation into SWIFT SCRL associates (registration of a package of documents and its sending in SWIFT) 1. Filling and sending an opening statement to SWIFT (SWIFT Undertaking). 2. Filling of introductory documents in the electronic form (the contract on the software forms of the order of the equipment of safety etc.). 3. Sending of confirmation of readiness of bank in SWIFT (Readiness Confirmation).
