SWIFTNet FIN gives access to FIN service by means of SWIFTNet using IP connections. Infrastructure of SWIFTNet includes a set of completely administered services of safety of the information constructed on the basis of technology PKI. Besides SWIFTNet FIN assumes development of FIN functionality at the expense of use of standard qualities of SWIFTNet. The further development will be received by existing means of safety FIN (SLS/BKE/Card Readers) which will be replaced by standard means SWIFTNet PKI. Also it is known as SWIFT-BIC (English Business Identifier Codes) BIC code SWIFT ID or SWIFT code. After events on September 11th 2001 CIA and the Treasury Department of the US have got access to the financial information of SWIFT network for the purpose of tracing of possible financial transactions of terrorists. Realisation of SWIFTNet FIN is an investment into the future which offers the full integrated package of operated transmission media of the formalized messages for the industry of financial services: Usage of CBT of the head financial organisation in the divided mode (Shared Connection) or connection through the Service bureau. Combination of SWIFTNet and SWIFTNet FIN also is a step on a way to reduction of complexity of means of operational processing (financial transactions) and movement towards their optimisation.
