In 2000 by means of FIN it was transferred over 1.2 billion messages. Daily over 9 million messages is transferred. All Service bureaus passed certification are published on a site www.swift.com. The Service bureau is the non-financial organisation created under direct control and annual audit by SWIFT (Belgium). Usage of SWIFT at realisation of calculations with corporate clients becomes an important direction in development of settlement infrastructures of banks. The Service bureau has no right to send and receive SWIFT-message on behalf of its own so that excludes a competition with the financial organisations. Scheme of Shared Connection is developed by SWIFT for connection of affiliated organisations by parent organisation though it can be used by the foreign financial organisations. After events on September 11th 2001 CIA and the Treasury Department of the US have got access to the financial information of SWIFT network for the purpose of tracing of possible financial transactions of terrorists.
